What the diseases are

Distemper

Severe viral disease (respiratory & nervous system), often fatal.

Parvovirus

Haemorrhagic gastroenteritis — very dangerous for puppies.

Hepatitis (adenovirus)

Affects the liver and respiratory tract.

Parainfluenza

Respiratory infection — part of "kennel cough".

Leptospirosis

Bacterial disease (kidneys/liver) — also transmissible to humans.

Rabies

Fatal zoonosis — rabies vaccination is mandatory.

Panleukopenia (cat)

Severe viral disease with high mortality.

Herpesvirus / Calicivirus (cat)

Feline upper-respiratory infections.

Feline Leukaemia (FeLV)

Causes immunosuppression and tumours in cats.
